Mr. Arun Kumar Sekhar- Chairman
Arun Kumar Sekhar is the Managing Director of Global Engineering Systems FZC based in UAE with branches in other Gulf countries, East Africa and India. He founded the Company in late 2001 and grew it to be the only Total Environment Solutions Provider in the Middle East. A Bachelor’s Degree holder in Production Engineering from University of Kerala, India, Arun has over two decades’ experience in functions ranging from consulting to manufacturing & marketing in industries as diverse as pulp & paper, construction, steel, automotive etc. He is also the founder and Managing Director of Technology Ventures Middle East FZC, a Marine & Offshore Engineering Company head quartered in UAE with branches in India and Singapore. Arun joined a few other like-minded environmental activists in founding Green Energy Foundation of which he is the Chairman now.

Rafael Thomas is an electrical engineer with around 20 years of experience in a variety of engineering disciplines. He is an entrepreneur, innovator and engineer responsible for many trend-setting solutions. He was the Chairman and Managing Director of EEL Ltd, a company that registered a phenomenal growth under his leadership, vision and technical excellence over a decade. The company had successfully undertaken many intricate engineering assignments right from concept to commissioning. The group had interests in turnkey electrical power projects, manufacturing transformers, reactors and control systems and Information Technology.

Dr. Hargurdeep (Deep) Saini
Dr. Hargurdeep (Deep) Saini is currently the dean at the University of Waterloo in Hamilton near here, will also be the principal of the University of Toronto’s Mississauga campus. An alumnus of Punjab Agricultural University in Ludhiana, Saini joins many Indian-origin educationists holding high positions in Canadian universities. He has completed his Ph.D. from University of Adelaide, Australia. His general research interests encompass the physiological, biochemical and molecular responses of plants to abiotic and biotic stresses, defense mechanisms in plants and the application of biotechnology to improve plant tolerance against adverse environments and pests. Processes that regulate plant productivity under stressful environments constitute an integral part of this research. Saini, who began his academic career in Canada in 1982 when he joined the University of Alberta as a post-doctoral fellow, has been the dean at the University of Waterloo since 2006. A past president of the Canadian Society of Plant Physiologists and the Federation of Canadian Plant Science Societies, Saini was in India recently as part of Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty’s ‘Clean Tech Mission to India’.
Vandana Chavan
Vandana Chavan is a recognized Practicing Advocate who initially worked as honorary lecturer at the Symbiosis Law College in Pune. She was elected to the post of Secretary, Pune Bar Association in the year 1987 – 88, and worked as Member of District Legal Aid Committee, Pune and Legal Aid Committee Symbiosis Law College.
She is also the co-author of the book on "Law of Cruelty, Abetment of Suicide and Dowry Death". Known to have participated in several Local, State, National and International Conferences, Seminars and Workshops she is also the Member of Organised Seminars on 'Laws regarding Women', ' Problems of Junior Advocates' and 'Laws in respect of Aids', in which the Hon'ble Chief Justice of India and several other legal luminaries were a part. Vandana also organizes notable Seminars like the one on 'Environmental Perspective for the 21st Century'.
Dr. Brahmanand Mohanty
Dr. Brahmanand Mohanty has completed both master and doctoral degrees in the energy field. As the regional adviser for Asia for the French Environment and Energy Management Agency (ADEME) for over 19 years, he has established institutional partnerships with several national energy and environment agencies for sharing experience, providing advisory services and capacity building in the areas of energy and resource management in industrial and commercial sectors. He has also been associated with the School of Environment, Resources and Development of the Asian Institute of Technology since 1986 as a faculty member, teaching subjects related to energy efficiency and management in buildings and industry.
Dr. Mohanty has undertaken short- and medium-term energy efficiency consultancy assignments for bilateral and multilateral funding agencies in about a dozen countries to provide technical assistance. Agencies for which he has carried out consultancy work include the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the World Bank (WB), the European Commission (EC), United Nations organizations (ESCAP, UNDP, UNEP, UN-HABITAT, UNFCCC and UNIDO), GTZ and DANIDA.
Noëlle Quénivet
Noëlle Quénivet is Senior Lecturer at the Bristol Law School of the University of the West of England (UK). Prior to holding this position she worked as Researcher at the Institute for International Law of Peace and Armed Conflict of the Ruhr-University Bochum (Germany).
She is co-editor-in-chief of the Journal of International Humanitarian Legal Studies.

M B NIRMAL is a globally known Motivator, Innovator, Change-Maker, Mind Programmer, Humorist, Orator, Trainer, Environmentalist, Social Reformer & Social-Activist.
M B NIRMAL served last as the Chief Public Relations Officer of Indian Overseas Bank before he took voluntary retirement. He had served as Chief Manager of a few of IOB major branches including the overseas Hong Kong Branch, Teynampet and Nungambakkam, Chennai, India.
UVK Rao
An IIM Ahmedabad Alumni with thirty years of industrial experience UVK Rao is the CEO of UVK Associates and is an Energy Auditor by profession.
Professionally trained from Resources Management Intl., USA, on Energy, he has also completed his PG Certification Program, Auditing PG-Advanced Energy Auditing Program, Department of Engineering Professional Development from University of Wisconsin, USA.
He is also a recipient of the Indian National Award for Best Energy Management Organisation, twice.
Chandersekhar Hariharan
Has also done Masters in econometrics and corporate communications from PennState, Harrisburg and picked up a doctoral in econometrics with a thesis on the wave theory and the Indian economy.
Has worked on development economics and spent time with many voluntary organisations in Aurangabad (Maharashtra), Vishakhapatnam (AP), Jhansi (MP), Palamu (Bihar), Ganganagar (Rajasthan) and Dehradun (then in north east UP, now Uttarkhand).
Also worked on rehab plans after the Uttarkashi earthquake in the Garhwal region
A brief five-month stint as a tax practitioner after qualifying as a CA, then as a financial journalist in the Financial Express, Free Press Journal and then in The Times of India, Bombay.
Was associated with The Action Research Unit, Delhi in the late eighties before co-founding The Academy for Mountain Environics in 1991 at Dehradun
Moved on from donor-funded models of the AME to create BCIL in 1995 as an enterprise that had sustainable development of water, energy and building practices as its central agenda
